DOWNTOWN MARYVILLE MARKET

RULES & REQUIREMENTS *Items sold must be homegrown or homemade. *No vulgar or offensive content to be displayed. This is a family-friendly environment. *Political campaigning is not allowed in the market. *There will be a $5 vendor fee for each regular Market day that you participate, paid upon set up to a Downtown Maryville Market representative. *Space is limited. Sign-up each week will be done starting Thursday (or when post is made available via Facebook through the “Maryville (MO) Market VENDORS ONLY group.” Sign-up will END each Friday at 7pm. Sign up will be approved per the discretion of the Market representatives based on availability to accommodate vendor requests. *Setup will start at 6:30 a.m. There must be a Market representative on site to guide you to your space. You will be instructed each week to your designated booth space. You will not have the same space each week, and specific booth spaces cannot be saved for you. *You must be set up and ready to sell no later than 8:00 a.m. and will not be allowed to leave any earlier than 12:00 noon if your vehicle is parked within the market area. *If you plan to leave early, you will need to park elsewhere, walk your supplies out and leave whenever you wish. *If you arrive later than 8:00 a.m., your vehicle will not be permitted within the Market and you will need to walk your items in to set up. (Exceptions may be made for inclement weather.) *If you have signed up for a booth, and do not call to cancel by 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning, the following consequences will be implemented: 1st Offense: You will be unable to attend the Market the next week, and you will be required to pay the $5 vendor fee for the week missed, as well as the current week of setup. 2nd Offense: You will be asked not to return to the Market as a vendor. *A tent/canopy is required. For safety reasons, your canopy MUST be weighted down. *You must have your own setup. Tables/chairs will not be provided for you. The Market does have a limited number of canopies that can be rented on a first come, first served basis for a fee of $10 each use. *To keep all patrons safe, food samples must be provided as single serving only. Please do not allow patrons to help themselves. *You are responsible for cleaning your booth, supplies, and any garbage gathered during the event. *You are responsible for knowing and following state and local laws pertaining to the items you wish to sell (i.e. eggs, dog treats, canned items, etc). *Your contact info may be shared with customers looking for your product when you are not present. *While we will do our best to accommodate, special requests are not guaranteed. *Disrespect of any kind toward other vendors and/or event organizers will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave. SPECIAL EVENT REQUIREMENTS *Larger events, such as Spring into Fun, Fall into Fun, and Yuletide Magic will have a $25 nonrefundable vendor fee, to be paid ahead of time. *All pertinent requirements above. INCLEMENT WEATHER We will do our best to have the Market each weekend through September. With the threat of severe weather, we do have the option of a delayed start or cancellation. Please understand that these decisions are not made lightly and will be made to err on the side of safety. Cancellations will be announced on Facebook to the “Downtown Maryville Market” group and the “Maryville (MO) Market VENDORS ONLY” group by 5:30 a.m. Please check these groups or contact Autumn Quimby at 660-868-0923 prior to leaving home.
